I am not sure if there are more Filipino customers who buy international phone cards to call home, or if it is just that Hellocallingcards.com has more customers from the Philippines than from all of the other countries combined. We now have more than 7000 Filipino customers who visit our website regularly, who trust our service, and our loyal customers.
Our customers count of me to know what the best products are for calling home to Philippines for both land lines and for calling to Philippines cell phones. I have added some new resources at Best of Philippines I am using the same diligence in selecting vendors for our Philippines resource page as my staff uses to find the best calling cards.
These products and services we are researching include Philippino books and literature, videos and music. We also have identified some great travel deals for flying home to the Philippines. Whether for business or vacation travel, we are seeking out great Philippine hotels and resorts.
If you are experienced in any of these areas or expert with other products and services of interest to Filipinos, please contact me. I can use your help.

I am so happy I found your blog site. I also sell phonecards but only to my friends. I have been using a certain phonecard for the past 5 years which was supplied thru a friend directly from the Philippines. As I read in your blog about phonecards a lot of them will decrease in call time after a certain time with crappy connection, maintenance fee etc. A lot of us call the Philippines thru phonecards just because phonecards can be use anywhere and you are not tied to a long distance provider. Recently the phonecard being supplied to us had some problems but they said it will be fix soon. I wondered if also suppied the same phonecard. The phonecard is a $20 phonecard with 1-800-511-6008 as its access number. The person selling this to me will not off course tell me the supplier because they will know they will lose me as a customer. Temporary I have bought a $5 Continental Luzviminda card and the voice prompt at the other is exactly the same but the access number is 1-877-899-8235. The reason I am so interested in the phonecard is that for the past 5 years it is has being so reliable, absolutely no connection, it will only charge the talk time plus no maintenance fee and expiration date. I have been waiting for 2 months now for my supplier to give me new PIN codes but he said they still fixing their problems. I know this phonecard is the best we have found because literally we have tried all phonecards sold in Asian stores. My consumption is 50 phonecards per month mainly supplying Filipino nurses. Let me know if you supply such card and your contact number and email. I tried to call the number posted in phonecardhotline.com Thank you very much for your help.

I checked the access number you gave, and could not find it on any of my philippine phone cards. There are two versions of Luzviminda, one of them is called Luzviminda Alaska.
Like Hello Asia calling card for Philippines, the carrier has changed several times over the past few years from Smartalk to Sprint and then to Startalk. Some of these also use Totalcall. There are not too many $20 phone cards. I do know of one from a company called 718 communcations. This phone card is know for calling home to china.
Ask the person who you are buying from now, to give you the customer service number. You can generally learn about the issuer if you know the customer service number.
I think it would be fair to be loyal to the distributor who sells you these phone cards so long as he is been honest with you and stands behind his phone cards. But I am also happy to have you as a prospective customer.
I would be very happy if you and perhaps some of your friends would post here about your experiences with some of the other phone cards you have tried... good or bad.
I guess I have click twice on my comment. Sorry for that. I called my friend in Las Vegas about his experience with phone cards. He said there is a certain card that he used called Mabuhay. And he is it was good. Since every phone cards have less minutes as promise on the card then the second criteria now is clarity of the call. I know you came up with a way to grade phone cards which one have the best grade that I could buy from your website. Thanks.
Yes my friend. I know the phone card called mabuhay phone card. There have been several phone cards over the years with the same name. My guess is that he is referring to the Mabuhay calling card that is made by the same people who make Luzviminda. I can get this product for you.
But since you must be Filipino, tell me what is the best english translation for "mabuhay", since it is a very common name for asia products and asian stores.
I understand the word Mabuhay to be a tagalog word suggesting "have a good life" and is often used as a greeting. How is this word mabuhay different than the greeting "kumusta"?
The direct translation of Kumusta is 'How are you'. It would be a good name for a phone card. With Mabuhay your translation to "have a good life" is very appropriate. Ma-Buhay in which Buhay is the root word means Life. I have not tried Mabuhay myself but I would trust your highest rated card to the Philippines is really a good phone card. Thanks again.
